2026 Long Road Co-op Community Olive Pick and Process event
About
Coming to a location near you from April 2026, register your interest in being part of a local olive picking and oil processing event so that your fruit doesn't go to waste. This date is a placeholder, and details of final event date, time and location will be provided based on registered interest from community members. We anticipate that there will be multiple dates throughout regional Victoria.For backyard growers (up to 50kg fruit), we provide a communal processing service where the oil will be shared 1/3 with the pickers (guaranteed at least 1L oil each), 1/3 to local food relief organisations (TBD) and 1/3 to the Long Road Olive Co-op, to help make the events financially sustainable into the future.
For small scale hobby farmers (50-200kg fruit), larger hobby farmers (201-750kg fruit) and primary producers (751-1000kg+) we can provide personalised fee-for-service processing assistance. Prices range from $1.50-$4/kg (the more fruit you bring, the cheaper processing gets).
