• Skirt Port Phillip Bay by steam, with return shuttles from Laverton Station to Newport via the 'Altona Loop' for one day only on Sunday 30th November 2025.

  These shuttles will travel on a scenic return journey through Melbourne's Inner West and along Port Phillip Bay at Altona.

• Take a seat in our heritage carriages with beautiful wood veneer panelling, pressed tin ceilings and opening windows to fully experience the steam era!

• Come along for a ride on The Vintage Train for a fun family day out through Melbourne's suburbs.

  4 x return shuttles will depart Laverton Railway Station at 11:15am, 12:15pm, 2:35pm and 3:35pm. These 50 minute shuttles will operate to Newport Station and return via the Altona Loop, passengers will not be able to join/leave the train at any other station than Laverton.
