How is it possible to stay connected to family members in the face of an ongoing clash of philosophies, values and beliefs? This presentation will discuss this topic from a personal and therapeutic perspective, examine available family therapy literature on the topic, present a detailed practice example and make some recommendations for practitioners.
About the presenter:
Dr. Glenn Larner is a senior clinical psychologist and family therapist with over 4 decades of experience in child and adolescent mental health and private practice across the age range.
He been editor of the ANZJFT since 2010, is a clinical supervisor with AAFT and has been a course writer and lecturer in family therapy at NSW Institute of Psychiatry, Health Education and Training Institute since 2003.
