This program is for staff who will be conducting Ultrasound Guided PIVCStaff eligibility to attend the workshop
• 12 months experience in performing Peripheral Intravenous Cannulation
• Approval to attend the training by your line manager
• A commitment to complete all course requirements, including pre-reading (approximately 1 hour). Access to pre-reading is via the following link (you will need to create an account).
Ultrasound Guided Peripheral Intravenous Cannulation (Online ONLY) (USGPIVC) - Courses - Central - please see flyer for access to this link
• attendance at the 2-hour clinical workshop
• practical assessment - access to the Ultrasound Guided PIVC equipment and to an approved assessor.
