Pollinators are essential for seeds, fruits, and vegetable production as well a forest regeneration! Learn about the amazing work of the pollinator animals and discover all the shapes and sizes that they come in, from tiny bugs to large fruit bats!• Learn about what pollinators are and why they are so important for ecosystem functioning and food production.
• Help create habitat for pollinators by planting a seed and making an insect hotel to take home.
• Have a close-up look at some of our smallest pollinators at work in the Community Gardens and Wildlife Garden.
• Catch the Myuna Farm train to the wetlands to see the colony of pollinating Grey-Headed Flying Foxes.

Children of all ages, accompanied by an adult, are welcome.
Dress requirements: Dress like a pollinator (optional)! Be a bee, butterfly, bat, possum, lorikeet, or honeyeater! Closed shoes recommended. Mosquito repellent may be needed for the wetland walk.
