About
Thanks to a small community grant from the City of Hobart, Hobart Playback Theatre will be delivering two intergenerational Playback Theatre performances in the Hobart municipality one of which will be held at our school.Playback Theatre is a unique and powerful form of theatre where audience members are invited to share real moments and stories from their lives. These stories are then brought to life on stage, spontaneously, by a team of four actors and a musician. The performances are designed to foster empathy, break down generational stereotypes, and build stronger community connections.
We are delighted to welcome a group of residents from Queenborough Rise who will be joining us for this event. We would also like to extend a warm invitation to grandparents or special family friends who would enjoy attending alongside their grandchildren.
