Remembrance Day remembers and honours all those who have served, died or suffered in wars, conflicts, and peace operations.
Our guest speaker this year is Joshua Fink.
Joshua grew up in Melbourne and graduated from Leibler Yavneh College in 2002. After high school he enlisted in the Australian Army and went to the Royal Military College – Duntroon where he graduated as a Lieutenant.
Joshua is the third generation of his family to serve in the Australian Army after his father Peter Fink and grandfather Sam Fink (who served in New Guinea in WWII). Joshua deployed to Afghanistan in 2013 as a Captain to mentor Afghan National Security Forces which was a highlight of his career.
