Emerging Young Leaders Network Gathering
Join and connect with other young professionals and emerging leaders in Catholic social services and connected sectors on Thursday, 6 November, from 5.30 - 7.30pm. Drinks and food provided.
You'll have the opportunity to hear from and speak with, Dr Robyn Miller AM, CEO of MacKillop Family Services, who will reflect on her career journey in social services, from her early career as a social worker, to leading one of Australia's largest providers of specialist services to vulnerable and disadvantaged children and families. She will explore the guiding principles that have shaped her path and provide insights into leadership in social services today.

Dr Robyn Miller AM
Dr Robyn Miller is CEO at MacKillop Family Services. She is a social worker and family therapist by training, with over thirty years’ experience in the community sector, government and child protection. She was a senior clinician and teacher for fourteen years at the Bouverie Family Therapy Centre, La Trobe University, and part of an innovative team working with families who have experienced trauma and sexual abuse. From 2006-15 Robyn was the Chief Practitioner within the Department of Human Services in Victoria, and has also worked as a consultant with the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. Robyn has led MacKillop through a period of significant growth, embedding core social work principles, such as trauma-informed practice, throughout the organisation.
