Set in the 1920s, Radium Girls tells the true story of the young women who painted glow-in-the-dark watch dials in American factories — and unknowingly exposed themselves to deadly radium. When they begin to fall ill, they fight back against a powerful company that refuses to take responsibility.

Told with humor, heart, and haunting beauty, Radium Girls is a moving exploration of courage, justice, and the price of progress. It reminds us that standing up for what is right can change the world — even when the odds are against us.
