So, you want to be a doctor? - Dr Chris PeytonDr Chris Peyton is a Senior Medical Officer and Emergency Department Lead. He is also part-owner of Kinkaya Urgent Care centre and was nominated for an Australian Citizen of the Year award for his contributions to medicine. He grew up in Northern Ireland during the troubles when his father received an OBE for inventing many trauma surgeries and the ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) system and as such has a long history and love of all aspects of medicine.
This is your chance to talk face-to-face with a doctor who can share real stories and insights - about medical careers (including the paths that aren’t on the typical doctor track), healthcare innovation, what working in medicine is really like, and healthcare commercialisation and business pathways. Dr Chris has a lifetime of experience and has some truly incredible stories that help make him such an engaging speaker.
