Supporting Twice-Exceptional Learners in Writing
Twice-exceptional students (those with gifted ability alongside ADHD or Autism) often generate sophisticated ideas but struggle to get them onto the page. This session explores the factors that shape writing performance, including working-memory load, organisation, and transcription barriers. Practical strategies will be shared for scaffolding text-level writing, leveraging strengths, and reducing barriers so students can express their knowledge with confidence.
