Advanced Clinical Assessment - Simon Plapp 2026
Assessment & Management of Cardiovascular complications Including:
* Fluid resuscitation and use of Blood products – massive blood loss.
* Differentiating cardiac chest pain - PQRST & Management of Acute Coronary Syndromes.
Respiratory Failure & Review of Resp physiology Advanced Resp Assessment & Management Including:
* Interpreting ABGs to understand respiratory pathophysiology
*basic CXR interpretation, O2 therapy (High Flow devices and Capnography) NIV (CPAP / BiPAP), applying this to a clinical scenario.
**Course content subject to alterations depending on group /organisation need.
*May include setting up & principles of Mechanical Ventilation
Morning tea and lunch provided
