  6. All students should adhere to the following dress code, with inappropriately dressed students refused entry or given the opportunity to rectify:
    • Students should wear smart casual clothing appropriate for a school event and ensure that they comply with their own school’s expectations on dress at school events.

    • Skirts, shorts or dresses for all students should be of at least mid-thigh length.
    • No pyjamas, reflective tape or additional glow sticks are permitted, as volunteer supervisors will be wearing in high vis vests for identification.
    • Footwear must be suitable for dancing (covered shoes with flat soles and with a back required)– high heels, sandals, ugg boots, thongs, slides or scuffs are not permitted.
    • Students will not modify their clothing once they have entered the event.
  7. All students must be respectful to all other guests and supervisors at the dance venue and demonstrate mature and responsible behaviour.
  8. Students should report to a supervisor (dressed in yellow or orange reflector vest) any behaviour by another student considered to be dangerous, antisocial, or inappropriate.

  15. Students will not be released from the Mary Ward Centre until 7.00 pm at the end of the event once they have entered. After the dance, students are to move quietly to the designated pick-up area, respecting the neighbouring properties. Students will be released in small groups for safety.
