Rebecca Thomas is an Education and Developmental Psychologist who works with children. She provides intervention and assessments in the areas of trauma, selective mutism, autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. Attachment in the classroom, exploring how strong teacher–student relationships can support learning and emotional wellbeing.
Participants will learn strategies for increasing pragmatic play in the classroom, encouraging social interaction and problem-solving through play.
The session will examine play skills and neurodiversity, highlighting approaches to support children with diverse developmental profiles.
Educators will also explore understanding emotional regulation and mentalization, focusing on how children understand their own and others’ emotions and how teachers can support this development.
