"Painting Port Willunga" exhibition opening
About
Join us for the opening of our next temporary exhibition "Painting Port Willunga" that will focus on the artists who have painted Port Willunga over the past century or so. Artists from the 19th century like Wilfred Murphy and G.F. Gregory junio through the well known like Horace Trenerry, Kathleen Sauerbier and Anton Riebe to the unknown like Jane Crompton and C.R.Curkpatrick.This exhibition will feature about 30 artworks from the Willunga National Trust collection, the National Gallery of Australia, private collectors and artists. A small number of recent works by mostly local artists will be "for sale".
Complimentary wine will be provided by our sponsors Kay Brothers Winery. This event is FREE but a donation would be much appreciated.
