Incontinence is not a normal part of ageing and older Australians who experience incontinence should be able to receive ongoing assessment, treatment and management to ensure they can live with dignity and feel respected.Educating the aged care workforce is vital in providing safe and effective continence care to ensure that the older persons individualised care needs are achieved to maintain or improve continence outcomes or manage incontinence.
