Join us to acknowledge and commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Dismissal of the Whitlam Government. We will be joined by former Premier Steve Bracks to discuss and recount the events of that day especially in Ballarat. We will also be joined in a pre-recorded Q&A with Professor Jenny Hocking, the author of 'The Palace Letters: The Queen, the Governor General and the plot to dismiss Gough Whitlam' who will discuss what her work has revealed on those who plotted to see the end of the Whitlam Government and the aftermath of the dismissal and what lessons have been learned for the nation.
