About
Ivanhoe Junior Football Club Development Academy will be for all age groups. The Academy will consist of 4 development sessions beginning on Sun 16 Nov 2025 and run through until Sunday 7 Dec 2025. The Academy will be FREE for all Ivanhoe JFC players and we encourage them to bring along their friends. The emphasis of the sessions will be on skill development.The sessions will be open to both boys and girls. The committee is keen to run a girls’ team in a younger age group next season (either U10 or U12), so girls (of all ages) are encouraged to participate.
The first session from 4pm - 5pm is designed for the younger age groups and will be separated into 3 groups: U8-U9, U10-U11 and U12-13s players.
The second session from 5pm - 6pm is for the older age groups and will be separated into 2 groups: U14-15 and U16-Youth. We are keen to combine the age groups to allow the older players to offer leadership and mentoring to the younger players.
All sessions will be held at Ford Park on the North oval.
