After October 7th, early childhood teacher Talia Bernstein felt compelled to take action. She founded Kesher (connection), an Australian initiative that provides educational support and emotional connection to children and teachers in Israel’s south. With over 60 volunteer educators from across Australia, Kesher delivers online lessons, resources, and care to families affected by the war — building powerful bonds between Australian and Israeli communities.
