Lifeline Macarthur are rallying Volunteer Elves to help with Gift-wrapping Stalls, which raise awareness and vital funds for the important services they provide in Western and South West Sydney. Join the fun and give back to your community.About Lifeline Macarthur and Western Sydney: Lifeline Macarthur and Western Syndey focuses on service provision on suicide prevention through crisis support and connection to work towards their vision of an Australia free of suicide and their purpose to empower and support individuals and communities to be reliant and suicide safe.
Stretching across 16 local government areas in Sydney’s West and South West, in 2022-23 their crisis supporters answered 107,000 calls, financial counsellors met 508 clients, and trained 1,578 community members to promote greater understanding, destigmatise mental health issues, and encourage help-seeking. Funds from donations assist in maintaining these services they can provide.
