WELCOME to our community Heart Dance floor - now in its 19th year in the Byron Shire!Conscious Dance is our medicine, mantra, & movement practice. In this 2 hour journey we meet the moment through music, movement, breath, bone, & presence.
Our dance floor is a safe, inclusive, intoxicant-free space. All gender identities, beliefs, dance levels & (dis)abilities are welcome.
Heart Dance offers uncompromisingly high-quality Conscious Dance in the heart of Byron Shire. Lush soundscapes, poetry in motion.
We dance weekly on Bundjalung Country with deep respect, reverence & gratitude to the FNP of this land. A portion of each dance is donated to a local Indigenous not-for-profit in recognition of this privilege as a step toward ‘paying the rent’.
🤍 Liat has been facilitating Heart Dance for 25+ years both locally and abroad, as well as mentoring teachers in training worldwide.
