Confirmation Registration Portal — 2025
INFORMATION EVENING
The parish will be running an information evening on Tuesday, 1 April 2025 from 6pm-7pm via Zoom. We strongly urge all parents to attend this session. Zoom details were included in the letter sent to schools. For those who do not have the Zoom details please contact the Sacramental Coordinator: sc@rgcp.org.au.
YEAR 6 – CONFIRMATION
The cost of the Confirmation program is $100 which you will pay upon finalising your child’s registration.
To register for the Confirmation program, please select your preferred ceremony date for the Confirmation Mass, then click 'Book Now' and fill-in the required details. The four available Masses are:
- Saturday, 14 June 2025, 12pm (RYDE)
- Saturday, 14 June 2025, 3pm (RYDE)
- Sunday, 15 June 2025, 12pm (RYDE)
- Sunday, 15 June 2025, 3pm (GLADESVILLE)
The selection you make will be the date your child receives the Sacrament of Confirmation.
This booking portal will open on Tuesday, 1 April at 8pm, and will close on Tuesday, 6 May at 11:59pm. Please ensure that you book within this timeframe.
Please note, that in order for your child to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, your child must already be baptised and must have received the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
After registering for the Confirmation program, we will send you a link to upload a copy of your child’s Baptism and First Holy Communion certificates, or similar verification from the Parish where these Sacraments were celebrated.
If your child was baptised in an Eastern Catholic (Maronite, Melkite etc.) or Orthodox Church (Greek Orthodox, Armenian Apostolic, etc.), they will most likely not be able to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, as they would have already been confirmed at the time of their Baptism. However, they are still warmly invited to register and participate in the Confirmation programme and liturgies. A special blessing will be imparted to them at the time of Confirmation, ensuring that they will not feel left out. Participating in the preparation programme at their age would be a very valuable opportunity to consciously explore their faith. If you wish to register your child, having been baptised Eastern Catholic or Orthodox, please send an email to sc@rgcp.org.au, making note of this.
PREPARATION SESSIONS
There are three preparation sessions for Confirmation, which are compulsory. Sessions 1 and 2 are in-person, while Session 3 is online.
The dates and times of the preparation sessions for Confirmation are as follows.

Child accompanied by one parent must attend all three sessions (1, 2, & 3)
● SESS 1 — 24 May 2:00–3:30pm (Group A)
● SESS 1 — 24 May 4:00–5:30pm (Group B)
● SESS 1 — 28 May 4:30–6:00pm (Group C)
● SESS 2 — 31 May 2:00–3:30pm (Group A)
● SESS 2 — 31 May 4:00–5:30pm (Group B)
● SESS 2 — 4 June 4:30–6:00pm (Group C)
● SESS 3 (Zoom) — 11 June 5–6pm (All groups) Link will be emailed to parents
● PREPARATION DAY — 7 June 9am–2pm (State & Private Schools) Attended by child only
