This dementia friendly film screening is for the enjoyment and comfort of people living with dementia, and their families, carers and companions.This event is tailored for people living with dementia:
- the selected film is in line with dementia-friendly screening guidelines
- friendly staff will be on hand to greet visitors and help throughout the event
- additional wayfinding and signage
- low-level lighting is used for the duration of the screening
- reduced sound levels in the venue
- a 10-minute intermission to stretch and refresh
- refreshments are provided offering guests an opportunity to relax and socialise
