Pippin Auditions
About
Hello and thank you for auditioning for UNSW MTS' production of Pippin! This is the form for those attending an in-person audition. If you are looking to submit a video audition, please use this form instead.Auditions will take place on the 29th and 30th of November at UNSW Campus. Each audition will involve a one-on-one slot, and a movement/dance call. Later in this form, you will book your time-slot for each.
As outlined in the audition pack, the one-on-one call will involve:
Perform one of the provided music cuts.
Perform one of the provided scenes.
Auditionees may be given direction, asked to read another side, meet the team, or do a range check, time permitting.
Movement and Dance calls:
Will take place at 12:00pm and 4:00pm on Saturday and Sunday.
We ask that all auditionees attend the movement call, and if they wish, may stay for the dance call which will directly follow. The routines for both calls are included in the pack.
In the booking form, please nominate which times you are available for. Pending numbers/interest, we will nominate you to the call closest to your one-on-one slot. Note: Movement and Dance will be 45 mins, Movement only is 20 mins.
In order to be considered for the main cast, you must be available for these dates:
Bump-in: 22nd March 2026
Dress rehearsal: 23rd March
Evening shows: 24th - 29th March
Matinee shows: 28th and 29th March
Alternate shows: Thursday 26th March (evening) and Saturday 28th March (matinee)
Bump-out: 29th March
There will be some flexibility for alternates, however you will still need to be available for bump-in, dress rehearsal, alternate shows and the majority of other shows.
