Join us for an evening of connection, flavour and storytelling, as we return to our intimate guided tasting format. Over the course of the night, you’ll enjoy six beautiful wines, each carefully paired with a canapé designed by the highly awarded Chef Luke Johnston, in consultation with Sommelier, Matt Wilkie. Together, they’ve created a tasting experience that celebrates the relationship between food, wine and the stories that bring them to life.
This event is a true collaboration between The Balcony Restaurant and The Wandering Cellar Door. It’s an opportunity to slow down, sip thoughtfully, and discover the finer details of each wine in a relaxed, conversational setting. As each course arrives, Matt will share the story behind the glass, from the vineyard and winemaker, to the subtle nuances that make each wine so distinctive. Meanwhile, Chef Luke’s canapés will complement and highlight those characteristics beautifully.
The evening has been designed to bring people together, to enjoy good food, good wine and genuine conversation. It’s equal parts education, indulgence and fun, exactly what we love about the world of wine.
