7 & 8 Girls Only Multisport Come and Try Day

Date: Friday the 21st of November (week 7)Time: 8:30am – 2:30pm
Location: Territory Netball Stadium, 235 Abala Road, Marrara
Cost: $10 to cover transport
Overview: The purpose of this come and try day is to expose girls to sports in the aim they will either join a club or holiday clinic, further increasing their engagement in physical activity. This year students will participate in the following variety of sports throughout the day:
• Cricket
• Soccer
• Touch Football
• Rugby League
• Netball
• Golf
• Tennis
Students will be required to attend pastoral care to have their name marked off before meeting in the breezeway to catch the bus at 8:30 am. The event will conclude at 1:45 pm before returning to school before early bus time (2:40pm).
Please note that this day is not about competition, it is about increasing physical activity and involvement in sport.
Requirements: Students are required to wear their full PE uniform and bring their own food, drink bottle. There will be no canteen available.
