Play Therapy Group Supervision
About
Group supervision offers a safe opportunity to learn from others' clinical work, to reflect and offer feedback to others' questions, to self-reflect on your own clinical practice and process, and to seek input from a play therapist supervisor and the other professionals in the group.Each 90 minute session costs $95 and runs online 10.30am-12pm AWST/ 1.30pm-3pm AEDT, with a specific play therapy focus topic:
Jan 12th - Themes in the playroom
Feb 12th - Documentation (session notes, reports, etc)
March 12th - Culture and Diversity
1.5 hours of group supervision is accepted by most play therapy associations as 1 hour of supervision (i.e. APTA, PTPA). Melanie Jansen is a Registered Psychologist, Board Approved Supervisor and Play Therapist Supervisor with APTA. Please check with your association or regulatory body if you are unsure if this group supervision will meet your requirements.
Supervision is provided at a 4:1 supervisor ratio, with a minimum of 2 supervisees to run.
All supervisees must be registered with a primary mental health or allied health regulatory body (i.e. AHPRA, AASW, ACA, PACFA, ANZACATA) and have a minimum of foundational training in an evidence based play therapy modality. Registration with a play therapy association is not required to participate.
Please book into one or all sessions, depending on what suits your needs best.
Following registration, a Zoom link and final details including any preparation or resources needed will be emailed to your designated email address 1 week prior to the supervision session.
