About
P.A.R.T.Y On is a shorter version of the highly successful Prevent Alcohol and Risk-Related Trauma in Youth (P.A.R.T.Y) Program held for local secondary school students at Latrobe Regional Health.LRH is delighted to present P.A.R.T.Y On exclusively for the children/grandchildren (15 years and older) of staff members and Community Champions volunteers.
The session demonstrates the possible consequences of risk-taking behaviour. Participants will engage with doctors, nurses, allied health practitioners, emergency services personnel and survivors in the hospital setting.
Please read the following information:
1. Please be at the Auditorium at least 15 minutes before the session. P.A.R.T.Y On will start at 6pm sharp.
2. Due to the size of the Auditorium at LRH, tickets are limited to one child accompanied by one parent/guardian. Where possible, the organisers will try to accommodate staff with more than one teenager. Please email party@lrh.com.au to check ticket availability.
3. P.A.R.T.Y uses vivid clinical reality which may be confronting, to show participants the possible consequences of risk-taking behaviour. The session may not be appropriate if your child has experienced a traumatic event or recent trauma. Please speak with P.A.R.T.Y coordinator Janet May (party@lrh.com.au) if you have any questions.
4. Light refreshments will be provided halfway through the session. Please bring a drink or snack if you need something earlier.
