Make your own Marking Gauge.
About
The Marking Gauge is an essential woodworking tool, used for marking out joints especially. A scribe line is more accurate that a pencil for chisel work. This tool makes scribe lines parallel to an edge. They have been used for centuries. This model we will be making is based on a French version from the 17th Century - and is pure genius. This workshop will take you through the journey of using three pieces of wood to create a beautiful and very handy Marking Guage!
