Dear Parents and Guardians,Emerson School will be hosting an important afternoon of events to support families of senior students as they prepare for the transition beyond school. These events will take place on Thursday 14 May at the Jnr/Snr Campus, 1430 Heatherton Road.
Information Session - Parent attendance
An information session will be held from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, focusing on recent changes to the NDIS, along with other topics relevant to students nearing the completion of their schooling.
Expo - Parent Attendance
The Expo will run from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, providing an opportunity for families to connect with service providers and access valuable resources to support post-school planning and transition.
Provider talk
VALID and Endeavour foundation also presenting from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Attendance to these sessions are strongly recommended, particularly in light of the recent changes within the NDIS and the importance of planning for your child’s transition.
