"Bilarni" - Jan Wositzky recounts Bill Harney’s epic life
In a land where everything and nothing is black and white a storyteller tracks the ‘expert’ on Aborigines - Bill Harney. Scripted from Harney’s many books, radio broadcasts and personal papers, and stories and of Jan Wositzky’s own research and quest for knowledge, "Bilarni" tells of an ‘uneducated’ NT bushman who after WW1 lived amongst Aborigines: as a lover, husband and father, a Patrol Officer, grazier and bush worker and who in 1957 became known as the ‘Custodian of the Rock’ (Uluru).
