- Friday 17 March
Doors open at 7:35 for 8:00pm start - The Blue Mountains Australia Supporters of the Camino are delighted to present a special screening of the thought provoking film by British filmmaker Aaron Leaman, 'Looking for Infinity: El Camino'.
-
Working on many different levels, the film provides insight into what attracts many people to undertake a Camino and what the words “freedom” and “simplicity” mean to them when coupled with “giving” to others and always receiving more than you gave.
It’s a beautiful, sincere and gentle work for those who want to savour life and slow down to see it.
After the screening there will be an opportunity for a Q&A discussion with experienced walkers and cyclists, over tea and coffee and free Santiago tart.
The Q&A will then be followed by a detailed look at Andrew Suzuki’s great project – 'Beyond the Way 2'.
-
To enhance the occasion fellow Camino Tragics, Denise Douglas and Garry Wilson from Mount Victoria Manor will put on Tapas and Wine from 6:00 pm to 7:15 pm (at the Mount Victoria Manor). For tapas bookings and accommodation information please contact Denise and Garry on 4787 1369.
Tickets for the film screening: $15
