In the upcoming June / July holiday break, Waverley Basketball will be running our Future Firsts Junior Development Camp for A/B and C/D players in Years 7-9 who are currently participating in the basketball program for the College.

 

The camp will be run by 1st V coach Mr Johnny Jovine, however during the 3-day intensive camp a number of other coaches may also be in attendance.

 

Venue: Br. JP Lacey Gymnasium 131 Birrell st, Waverley, NSW, 2024

Dates: Monday 10th of July to Wednesday 12th of July

Times: 9:00am – 2:00pm with a ½-hour break for lunch each day

Cost: $150 per player (players can attend for less than 3 days, however there is no provision for paying less than 3 days)  

 

Please provide your son with adequate food and drink for each day and ensure that he brings all the required equipment and gear, including:

• College sports uniform (non-Waverley uniforms are not to be worn)

• Basketball shoes      • A basketball    • Towel    • Filled water bottle

• Mouth guard            • Strapping tape

 

It is advised that expensive items are not brought to the camp. The College will not accept responsibility for loss of any personal belongings. Players are only permitted to wear Waverley approved sports uniforms at the camp.

 

Places are strictly limited to 30 players and are not confirmed until full payment has been made. Furthermore, the camp requires a minimum of 20 players to have paid in full to proceed; therefore, it is vital that bookings and payments be made by the due date. Note, while players can participate for less than 3 days, there is no provision for paying for less than 3 days.
