Treat yourself to some time off for the good of the family.

If you are in need of a little time off from the kids, a glass of bubbles, some delicious food, a laugh and a few new strategies to make parenting life easier then this is for you. Join us on Saturday the 26 th of August starting at 11:00am till 2:30pm for our first ever Mum’s Lunch in Brisbane at the amazing Cloudland.

We are very excited to have Sue Spence one of the co-founders of BRAVE-Online, a program for the treatment, early intervention and prevention of anxiety in children and adolescents, join us.

Sue will be coming along to our event to share some key advice for parents to help them raise resilient kids when it comes to stress and anxiety in school aged children.

In 2016 Professor Sue Spence was made an Officer of the Order of Australia as part of the Australia Day Honours List in recognition of her distinguished service to mental health research particularly with children and young people, so it’s clear she knows her stuff.

“We know that, if left untreated, anxiety problems during childhood and adolescence are a major risk factor in the development of depression later in life,” said Professor Spence.

After we have heard from Sue and delighted ourselves in a scrumptious buffet lunch we will be joined by a panel of well-known parenting bloggers to entertain you with their stories of parenting and trying to raise resilient kids.

Your ticket price includes our keynote speaker, panel discussion, a glass of bubbles on arrival, juice / tea and coffee and a full buffet lunch.

Tickets are $75 all inclusive however we are offering a super early bird special rate of $55 until July 31st for those who purchase their tickets early.

$5 from every ticket is going to support the fantastic work Sue does with the Brave program.

The venue is within walking distance of the Fortitude Valley train station and it is also good to know there is $10 validated flat fee parking near by if you plan on driving in with some girlfriends.
