This is your chance to watch some of the industry’s top experts debate the benefits more women working in operations is having on men.
Research shows a clear and positive correlation between gender balance and profit, safety, governance and innovation in workplace leadership. Let’s closely examine these and other benefits and debate what still needs to be done in organisations to strive for a 50/50 gender balance in leadership in our industry.
NAWO, together with journalist, broadcaster, author and host of ABC TV’s ‘The Drum‘, Julia Baird, will host a dynamic and compelling forum on the issues affecting men and women as a more gender balanced playing field emerges.
Guest speakers and panelists include:
Troy Roderick, Executive Ambassador, Catalyst Australia
Phillip Austin, President, CHEP Asia Pacific
Michelle Redfern, Founder, Advancing Women
Natalie Goldman, CEO, FlexCareers
Tim Hart, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Ridley Corporation
Time: 1:00 - 3:45 pm AEDT
The event is part of NAWO’s Regional Delivery Program which aims to reach the large pool of female talent across regional Australia and is funded by Australian Government’s Office for Women. This funding is part of the Government’s Women’s Leadership and Development Strategy, which is focused on improving gender equality and providing support for women’s economic empowerment, safety and leadership. It is anticipated this partnership will enable hundreds (if not thousands) of regional women to participate in operational leadership development opportunities, and regional organisations to further their gender diversity targets.
