About the Workshop
Session 1: Promoting listening and speaking skills with ICT
This session is a guided tour of easy solutions for promoting speaking skills, improving pronunciation and deepening understanding through using audio in the languages classroom with such tools as SpeakPipe, TwistedWave, CuePrompter, Adobe Spark Video and Padlet. You will find out how easy it is to make recordings and publish the results online. We will also look at making audio QR codes with Seesaw and turning your browser into a professional looking teleprompter.
Session 2: Improving reading and writing using technology
The second hands-on session looks at how pupils can practise their reading and writing skills by contributing to an online notice board, creating a collaborative document, reflective backchannel and ebook with Adobe Spark Post, Google Slides and Book Creator.
