Goya Ensemble present Beethoven, Bartók and Kovács
Beethoven's piano sonatas mark his development into a formidable composer and demand absolute mastery and versatilely of the pianist. The Waldstien no. 21 op 53 is one of his most famous. Bartoks only chamber work containing a wind instrument a very popular work however it is underrepresented due to its difficulty. Bartok sort to push the two instrumentalists technically and also imbeds the composition with his intimate knowledge of Hungarian rhythms and dances.
