I invite you to the Rotary “Do-Goodery” Conference to be held virtually in May 2021. The last two years have seen devastating events across our District and the wider community. We have witnessed and felt the effects of persistent drought, bushfires not seen for a generation, floods that have caused tremendous damage and the financial and social impact of COVID-19.
This conference will celebrate the achievements of organizations and individuals who have led the recovery of our community through “Do- Goodery” and we will hear from others who were impacted by these environmental factors, maintaining their commitment and well-being despite the severity of these events.
Come and join us for this Conference from the comfort of your home or with a group of Rotarian friends. Amanda and I look forward to seeing you there.
David Roach
District Governor 2020-21
What is a virtual conference?
A virtual conference works very much the same as a live one. The content and program for our virtual conference is much the same as a normal conference, but it will be delivered virtually through an online platform so we don't need to gather in a large group. When you purchase a ticket to attend, instead of a physical address and directions, you will be sent an internet link before the day which you will be able to use to 'attend' the conference virtually from your computer.
