Victorian International 420 Class Association, Inc.
We understand these are challenging times, so the Victorian 420 Association would like to invite all its members, along with members of all state 420 Associations, to be part of a Virtual Training Program over the next three weeks (commencing Monday 6th April to Saturday 25th April).
The program itself will consist of a number of sessions held over video conferencing, including:
- Interviews with Olympic Sailing Legends, where sailors will have the opportunity to ask questions
(Monday at 7 pm) Our kick-off session will be with Tom King, dual Olympian, and 470 Gold Medallist
- Theory sessions facilitated by Johnny Rogers (Tuesday & Thursday at 3 pm)
These sessions will cover a range of topics from boat speed, tactics, regatta preparation, etc
- Online workout facilitated by Sophie Jackson (Monday, Wednesday, & Friday at 10.30 am)
You will need to wear exercise gear and bring a yoga mat & drink bottle
- Online regatta with prizes on the game Virtual Sailor (Saturday at 7 pm)
Please download this on your device and start practicing for some serious racing
Saturday 11th April - Warm-up regatta
Saturday 18th April - Qualifying Series
Saturday 25th April - Finals
