Kinchela Boys Home -Restoring Our Family Structures

The Kinchella Boys represent the survivors of the Kinchella Aboriginal Boys Training Home (KBH), which was run by the NSW Government for over 50 years from 1924 – 1970 to house Aboriginal boys forcibly removed from their families. They run several programs including an education program. 'The Kinchela Boys' is a short film produced and co written with the KBH survivors who tell the story of their experiences in Kinchela Boys Home and the impacts on their lives after they left the home.
