The course will provide an overview on the use of FRP composites in construction and a review of the design procedures for FRP strengthening of concrete structures when subjected to flexure, shear and axial loads according to the new AS5100.8 (2017) and ACI440.2 (2017). Some provisions within the Concrete Society Technical Report no 55 will also be included.
