Escape the confines of the city and join us on a whirlwind adventure of love, loss and laughter that you will never forget!
Celebrate the return of theatre with Melbourne Shakespeare Company’s exciting new musical adaptation of one of Shakespeare’s most iconic plays -The Winter’s Tale.
One of Shakespeare’s greatest plays, and dubbed the original soap opera, The Winter’s Tale, smashes all the rules that we have come to expect from a traditional drama. Unity of time, place and action are hurled aside as we range across the world, from court to country, from high tragedy to low comedy, across a time span of sixteen years. This exciting new production brought to us by the company's Artistic Director, Jennifer Sarah Dean (London's Globe Theatre) will keep audiences young and old on the edge of their seats with its dynamic combination of music, drama and comedy.
