Homophonic! A concert of new classical music written by LGBTIQ+ composers. Featuring Sapphic Symphonists, Homosexual Harmonies, and everything in between. Classical music has a long and proud history of composers being as gay, and Homophonic! is honouring their legacy by exploring the sound world of the LGBTIQ+ composers of today. Featuring Australian and world premieres for voices and strings, performed by Melbourne’s most in demand string quintet, and the voices of The Consort of Melbourne.
