75 minute performance of Charles S. Packer's Crown of Thorns oratorio, written in 1863 and performed in Sydney every Easter until 1936. A premiere performance for Tasmania. In St. David's Cathedral on Good Friday, April 2, at 3.30pm and again at 6.30pm. 60-voice choir, 4 soloists and accompanist on the Cathedral's organ.
