Artist talk with Neville Cichon + AusOcean information session

Presenting in conjunction with visiting artist Neville Cichon, whose current exhibition Uprising reflects on the current state of our vast ocean networks, AusOcean invites you to an informative afternoon unpacking the important work they are doing to support healthy marine environments.
Come along and learn about the diverse projects that AusOcean is delivering in South Australia dedicated to marine conservation.
Current projects include Oyster Reef Habitat Restoration at Ochre Point, Maslin Beach and the Rapid Bay Underwater Live Stream Crowdfund alongside various other marine health research projects at Carrickalinga, Kangaroo Island and beyond.
Following an introduction to the Uprising exhibition by photographer Neville Cichon, AusOcean Marine Ecologist, Catherine Larkin, will discuss a selection of their projects and the environmental challenges they face.
There will be time for questions and the session will be followed by the opportunity for informal discussion about the work of AusOcean and the exhibition.
This is a free event, however due to COVID -19 capacity limits, bookings are required.
Uprising by Neville Cichon runs until 20 March.
