Griffin's Three Green Hills. Rescheduled talk
The story of the plantings on the western edge of Walter Burley Griffin’s city plan, on the Green Hills, now known as Roman Cypress Hill, Dairy Farmers Hill and the Himalayan Cedars. Trevor Lipscombe from the National Trust ACT will tell us how Griffin settled on the afforestation of these three bare hills with cypress and cedars. After Trevor's talk and discussion, light refreshments will be served. AGHS members and Friends of the Arboretum $15, others $20. COVID conditions apply.
