Purcell's 'King Arthur'

Prepare to embark on a tale of medieval adventure and mysticism. One of the greatest works of western music, Purcell’s operetta ‘King Arthur’ tells the story of King Arthur’s Britons as they battle the Saxons. Led by Ross Cobb and performed on a period orchestra of Australia’s best historically informed musicians. Performed in the open-air; bring a picnic rug, some food and drink whilst surrounded by the stunning sandstone Quadrangle of St Paul's College.
