Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Choir & Orchestra present Handel’s Messiah for the world record 242nd time since 1853. Following 18 months of lockdowns and restrictions caused by the pandemic, this concert will mark the triumphant return of the RMP to live performance at its spiritual home on the stage of Melbourne Town Hall. The RMP’s annual performance of this masterpiece is a much-anticipated highlight of Melbourne’s concert calendar. Don’t miss being part of this wonderful musical tradition, and an emotional return to live performance in Melbourne by Australia's oldest surviving performing arts organisation. Featuring a superb cast of soloists, conducted by Andrew Wailes.
