Year of the Memoir with Alan Close (SOLD OUT)
Join author Alan Close for three terms of writing classes spread over the year. During each term, the small group will meet for 4 x 2 hour workshops, with Short YouTube lectures uploaded between sessions. The aim of the course is to support writers working on a book-length memoir or autobiographical novel, from first ideas to finished manuscripts.
When: 12 x Wednesday nights from 6pm-8pm. March - September 2022
- Term 1: 2, 9, 16 & 23 March 2022
- Term 2: 1, 8, 15 & 22 June 2022
- Term 3: 7, 14, 21 & 28 September 2022
Delivery Mode: This event will be a hybrid format, consisting of in-person at the Byron Writers Festival office with remote attendance option via Zoom available.
Group size: 10 particpants max.
