Building the capacity of specialist and classroom teachers is a focus for ASPA Education. As passionate educators, we believe in equipping teachers with the skills and knowledge to deliver vibrant and sustainable performing arts programs in their schools.

Friday March 11: Start or Revive Your School Choir (CANCELLED)
Want to inspire your students to sing with glee? Our experienced staff will share simple and effective tricks of the trade to enable you to launch, recuperate or reestablish a vibrant school choir that students will want to join.
Suitable for: Primary classroom and primary specialist music teachers
Presenter: Jane Hennessy
NESA Elective PD: This PD meets Standard Descriptors 4.1.2, 6.2.2 and 7.4.2 and can contribute 5 hours towards Elective PD at the Proficient Teacher career stage. You will receive a certificate upon completion.
 
Friday May 6: Show-stopping School Concerts
Do you want to put on a show that will blow your school community away, but don't know where to start? Or do you have all the ideas ready to go but need a helping hand to bring your production to life? Join our expert instructors as they give you simple and effective tools to create a show-stopping (and stress-free!) performance.
Suitable for: Primary classroom and primary specialist music teachers
Presenters: Jane Hennessy and Tiegan Denina
NESA Elective PD: This PD meets Standard Descriptors 6.2.2, 2.1.2 and 7.4.2 and can contribute 5 hours towards Elective PD at the Proficient Teacher career stage. You will receive a certificate upon completion.
 
Friday July 29: Performing Arts Content Booster
Are you looking to top-up or refresh your performing arts content for Semester 2? Let us re-stock your teacher tool-kit at this practical, hands on day where we will equip you with a wide range of brand new resources that will engage students of all ages and abilities.
Suitable for: Primary classroom and primary specialist music teachers, casual relief teachers and pre-service teachers
Presenter: Fiona Ulrick and Shelley Moore
NESA Elective PD: This PD meets Standard Descriptors 6.2.2 and 7.4.2 and can contribute 5 hours towards Elective PD at the Proficient Teacher career stage. You will receive a certificate upon completion.

Details
Time: 9.30am - 3.30pm
Location: North Ryde Anglican Church - 152 Coxs Road, North Ryde
Cost: $190 per workshop - includes morning tea and lunch
Resources: Each participant will receive a booklet with warm ups, activities, music and digital resources

Payment Options
When you click the yellow ‘Book Now’ button at the top of the page you will be taken to the ‘Tickets’ page. There are two payment options for each workshop for you to select from:

Option 1 - School Invoice

  • If you would like ASPA Education to email you an invoice so that your school can pay for the workshop/s please select the ‘School Invoice’ ticket type.
  • The Trybooking site does not generate the relevant invoice for your school. Do not use this invoice. ASPA Education will email an invoice to you directly within 14 days of registration.

Option 2 - Credit Card

  • If you would like to pay by credit card please select the ‘Credit Card’ ticket type.

Please note: A TryBooking booking fee of $0.50 per registration will apply; all other fees are included in the price. Once your booking has been successfully processed TryBooking will send you a confirmation email.

Cancellation Policy
Should you be unwell then we ask that you do not attend the workshop, and we will instead issue you with a full refund upon notification to aspaed@aspagroup.com.au. Should the program be cancelled for any reason a full refund will be issued to all enrolled participants.
